In remembrance of Oma Hein's 100th birthday
A rustic autumn evening in our butchers shop
On 9th November 2009 Oma Hein would have been 100 years old, in remembrance of her life, Hein butchers shop invited over 40 customers to a rustic autumn evening of gourmet cooking.
The Family Dierker, their team and the chef Thorsten Quindt prepared and served a hearty feast:
- Oma Hein’s smoked and unsmoked pork sausage served with Grünkohl ( green cabbage)
- To celebrate Westphalia peace: Münsterländer Wurstebrot and Osnabrücker Stopsel with apples
- Original Lower Silesian red and white wellwurst ( similar to black pudding and white pudding)
As well as our specialties for November and December:
- Original Lower Silesian Christmas Bratwurst with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes.
To compliment, this evening fresh Görlitz Landskron beer, wine and soft drinks were served, this ensured it was a truly socialable evening.
